The job holder will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the legal documents, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
a. Drafting, vetting various agreements/ contracts. (Legal Notice, Petitions, Suits, Lease Deed, License Agreement, MOU, and Affidavit etc.)
b. Resolving legal/commercial queries and providing legal opinion to various departments of the Company.
c. Review all contracts or any other documentation where the Company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention.
d. Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities. Review and draft documentation for business transactions and prepare and advise on the necessary checklist to be adopted to ensure information is submitted on time.
e. Scrutiny and verification of documents for purchase /acquisition / leave and license / hiring of premises / equipment’s for opening new retail outlets /hire purchase agreements, Drafting of confidentiality agreements and Service Level Agreements.
f. Liaisoning & seeking necessary approvals from different governmental departments
g. Drafting of replies to legal notices and other customized special correspondence.
h. Experience in dealing with court cases.

At least 2-3 years legal experience preferably in retail industry, with a proven track record in contract negotiation and drafting. Good planning and organization skills. Should have flair for legal research and negotiation skills.
Candidate should have full-time Degree in law from recognized University / Institute in India. Experience in Company Secretarial work will be an added advantage. Excellent relationship management and communication skills.How to Apply?:
