Jharkhand State Housing Board, Govt. of Jharkhand seeks applications from eligible candidates for Law Officers.

 

Eligibility Criteria/ Skills Required:

Essential:
Full-Time Graduate Law Degree with 60% marks from a recognized institute/ University

Preferable/ Desirable
Candidate having full-time Post Graduate Degree in Law with 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University shall be preferred.

Essential:
Must have three years of experience as an advocate with any Court of India after registration with Bar Council,

OR

Three years of working experience as an advocate with any law firm.

Preferable/ Desirable
Experience with Government / Government institution shall be preferred

Notes:

(1) The applicants shall have to submit a Demand Draft of Rs. Seven Hundred & Fifty Only (Rs. 750.00) in Favor of “Jharkhand State Housing Board” Payable at Ranchi. (2) The actual number of vacant positions may change at the time of final recruitment (3) Vacancies shall be subject to reservation policy, as per Jharkhand State Government rules. (4) The applicants shall have to appear in a written examination. Written test date, venue and time to be intimated later. (5) Successful applicants after the written examination shall have to personally appear before the interview board for final selection (6) JSHB/ SAMS shall not in any way be responsible for any delay in receipt of the application. Application received after the due time and due date and/or without Demand Draft shall not be entertained.

Urban Development Department provides basic services to urban areas in entire state as per the provision of Municipal Corporation/ Municipality Act. Responsibilities of ULBs have increased manifolds in recent past after enactment of 74th Constitutional Amendment Act. The twelfth Schedule brings into the municipal domain among others such areas like as urban and town planning, regulation of land use, planning for economic and social development, safeguarding the interests of weaker sections of society including the handicapped and mentally retarded, Slum improvement and upgradation, urban poverty alleviation, promotion of cultural, educational and aesthetic aspects.
